FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Are your products handmade?
Yes. Every product is individually handcrafted in our UK workshop using genuine copper and traditional metalworking techniques. Small variations in finish and appearance are part of the handmade process and contribute to the unique character of each piece.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Yes.
Many of our copper water spouts and water feature components can be customised to suit your project requirements.
We can often adjust:
- Projection length
- Pipe diameter
- Wall plate size
- Overall dimensions
- Design details
If you have a specific requirement, please contact us before ordering and we will be happy to discuss your project.
How quickly do you dispatch orders?
All copper products are individually inspected and hand polished before dispatch.
We aim to dispatch standard size products on the next business day.
Custom-made products are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days.
How long does delivery take?
United Kingdom
1–2 business days after dispatch.
European Union
3–10 business days after dispatch.
Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally vary due to courier delays or customs processing.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship throughout the United Kingdom and European Union.

and we will be happy to discuss available shipping options.
Will copper change colour over time?
Yes.
Copper is a natural material and will gradually develop a patina when exposed to water, air, and the elements.
Over time, the finish may develop deeper brown tones and eventually subtle green and blue hues.
Many customers love this natural ageing process as it gives each piece a unique appearance.
Can I keep the original polished copper finish?
Yes.
If you prefer the bright copper appearance, the surface can be cleaned and polished periodically using suitable copper cleaning products.
Some products are also available with an optional protective lacquer coating to help slow the patina process.
Why choose copper instead of bamboo?
Copper offers the same natural aesthetic while providing significantly greater durability.
Unlike bamboo, copper:
- Will not rot
- Will not crack
- Will not split
- Requires less maintenance
- Is suitable for year-round outdoor use
- Can last for decades
Are your water spouts suitable for ponds and water features?
Yes.
Our copper water spouts are designed for use with:
- Garden ponds
- Water walls
- Fountain installations
- Water troughs
- Japanese-inspired gardens
- Contemporary landscape projects
Are pumps included?
No.
Unless specifically stated in the product description, pumps, bowls, ponds, stones, and other decorative accessories shown in photographs are not included.
How do I install a copper water spout?
Installation methods vary depending on the product.
Many of our wall-mounted spouts connect directly to standard plumbing fittings, while our sleeve-style spouts are designed to slide over existing pond pipework.
If you are unsure which product is suitable for your setup, simply send us a photograph or dimensions and we will be happy to help.
Can I return my order?
We accept returns on standard size products within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unused and returned in their original condition.
Custom-made and bespoke products are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect or quality issue.
Please see our Returns Policy for full details.
